Kasey grew up in Savannah, Georgia but found herself in the Macon area after her husband began working at Robins AFB. She has been working with animals for the last five years - starting out in rescue, then doggie daycare and boarding, and finally finding her happy place in veterinary medicine. She has three dogs of her own: two chihuahuas named Sophie and Butters, and a lab mix named Gemma. In her spare time, she enjoys reading with a chihuahua or two in her lap, trying new restaurants with her husband and friends, and going anywhere with a beach as often as she can. Her favorite parts of the job are dental cleanings and forming relationships with patients and their owners.
April has called Forsyth Road Animal Clinic home for 14 years. She holds the position of receptionist, but she is best known as the treat giver for the furbabies. She has three furbabies (Dunkin, Chewie, and Muffin) whose little footprints have stolen her heart. During her free time, she enjoys baking, gardening, but most importantly, spending time with her family and making unforgettable memories for years to come. April has always had a love for animals, and enjoys being able to help and assist each and every one that comes in.
Paige is a lifelong animal lover and currently has a rescue cat named Gerald Vincent (aka Vinny, Geraldine, Big G, or G-Unit). They worked as a vet tech and pet sitter for several years in Tallahassee, Florida while pursuing their psychology degree at Florida A&M University. They love supporting and educating clients as they learn about their furry family members' needs. Paige’s other passion is music and in their free time they enjoy playing guitar and percussion, singing, listening to their vinyl record collection, and going to shows. On weekends you can find them out and about, enjoying all the great things that Macon has to offer!
Sam has been married since 2011 and is a mother to three wonderful children. Between rescue, training, veterinary medicine, and grooming, she has been working professionally with animals for 15 years. Sam is currently concentrating on grooming, which she has been doing for 5+ years. She has a small hobby farm that includes rescue dogs and cats, goats, chickens, ducks, and even a pig. In her free time, Sam prefers to spend every waking minute outdoors hiking, running canicross, swimming, and doing sports with her standard poodle, Shadow. She considers poodles her specialty, but has experience grooming pure and mixed breeds of every variety.
Riff Raff may have only three legs and one eye, but he keeps his coworkers on their toes! Dr. Bettis rescued him when he came in as a stray in very bad shape. She performed multiple life-saving surgeries on him, and ultimately adopted him as one of her own. At ten years old, he spends his free time reciting Shakespeare and searching for crumbs.
Hope is fourteen years young and goes by many names, including Hopey, head of security, and chief snuggle officer. Dr. Bettis rescued her as an emaciated puppy, and it was love at first cuddle. She likes to spend her free time accepting cookies, napping on the couch, and being the world's best pupper.
